IFFR Art Directions guided tours

During the 59th edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), I was invited to lead curated tours for the IFFR Art Directions programme at Katoenhuis Rotterdam, sharing insights into the artistic and technological narratives presented in the programme.

At Katoenhuis, IFFR presented four installations that, in their own unique way, explore and combine new narrative forms and technologies. The works included "Extramission: The Capture of Glowing Eyes" by Jessica Sarah Rinland, "Brown Bodies in an Open Landscape Are Often Migrating by Basir Mahmood, "Alice, Bob, Carol, David" by Viktor Timofeev and "La Quema (del Planeta ‘B’)" by Francisco Baquerizo Racines. Through these tours, I helped visitors engage more deeply with the works, discussing their themes, artistic approaches, and connections to contemporary media art and film.
